    Poem Commentary

I wrote this for my brother Rich when he was going through a tough time in his life.

    Nobody's Home

Did you ever have one of those days
When nothing seemed to go your way
No matter how hard you try
You can't stop the flow from your eye
Enraged and wounded, mixed emotions inside you
Feelings of emptiness, lost, and confused
No one to turn to, you're left all alone
No where to run to, nobody's home

Did you ever have one of those times
When the worlds got you blind
Tear stained pillow and a torn heart
Was all that was left, now you're falling apart
You stare down an empty street, where do you go?
Answers to questions you've longed to know
No one to turn to, you're left all alone
Nowhere to run to, nobody's home...

I think in all of our lives, we have had this feeling - but of course that when we reach for that wisdom and strength to hang on in there - the morning will change everything. Great work Nohea517 Dovier8

That's the kind of poem that we all have it in us to write, because we've all been there. Glad you wrote it. Beautiful.
