    No words on paper

Growing up not like them, miles apart
thats how I felt back then, words in
the mind raced back and away, pencil
in hand stood there all Day

Pushed pencil to the paper but nothing
came out, I tried to scream, I tried to
shout, so scared they would find out

First it was light and then went
to night, demons came out and enjoyed
my fight, can't contain can't hold back
needle hits the vein, no going back

The Devil slid in and out of sight
poison entered but gave no fight, slowly
the mind had slipped away, would'nt be
    back till the following day

If I know that this was the end,
no words on the paper which I could
send, so sorry to you to find me this way,
life will be better for me the next day

I hope you all know what you meant
to me, this was not your fault I hope
you see, gone to hell and tried to fight,
nothing I could do, the Devil had me in sight

Years gone by and no more fight, I
lie in the middle of God's golden light,
looking back how could he so care, I had
the needle in my hand and nothing but
    a dare

Now I know about the nails in his
hand, the mistakes that we made,
he still makes a stand, and thru
it all he would always say, come fourth
my child it's a brand new day.....

This was a good piece. Very easy to follow and understand. Open and honest. It's very beautiful when one isn't afraid to share themselves this way

That is real good. I like it alot.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
