No Looking Back
I have decided to no longer live within societies boundaries
I will shed what they have told me to do, how to live my life
who I can and cannot love. I will run naked as a newborn child
free to start over.
No longer will they label me, I refused to be judged
only I will decide who I am and what I will become, listen
to these words people...free yourselves dammit.
How blind can you really be?
Its time for a rebirth to become whole, to become the
individual you were meant to be, yes let go and be happy
no longer will society hold you back if you do not let them
turn your backs and walk away,
Breathe freedom my brothers and sisters breathe
embrace your differences, celebrate your independence
from how society wants you to be. When you walk away
there will be no looking back.
This a poem I have been wanting to write for a long time,
please note I do not want anybody to break any laws..my point
here is I want you to no longer be labeled and judged for who you are. Celebrate Diversity.
I will shed what they have told me to do, how to live my life
who I can and cannot love. I will run naked as a newborn child
