My Trials and Successes
I know why I hurt so much today
it's because of all of my wrong choices made yesterday
I should've known the long hard road I walked down
would end up hurting myself and
those I loved and cared about
I wish I could turn back time and make amends
for the things I did or didn't do
but that's impossible now, so I'll continue
to do my best and make amends where I can
I've much healing and growth to achieve
to be where God wants me to be
I am a survivor and can't and won't give up
but strive on the road of my
final and peaceful recovery and rest
