My tears & the rain

Here comes the rain and here comes my tears. As I sit alone I hear the rain drops fall as tears flow down my face I hear your voice, feel your touch, and see your face. As the rain falls I hear you say I’m in love you with u do u hear me? I will never hurt you this is my word and my word is bond. As I imagine feeling your hand gently touches my face while your other hand pulls me close. I see your face u smile at me as u look me in my eyes as though u can see what my heart feels.

The rain falls I’m alone with my tears wondering why, holding a ring that no longer has any meaning. Playing back conversations that had no truth at all, feeling a touch that was not genuine. The rain is falling harder and I hold my pillow tight as my tears fall down my face I think to myself do you have any idea what you have done. Did you know that my heart was out in the open and u carelessly missed handle it. Now I’m here just listening to the rain left with my thoughts and my tears.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
