    My Love

Your beauty glistens like dew swept summer rose.
Your kiss is soft and pure like a petal.
Your touch teases my body like a cool breeze.
Your love is a soft flower bed where I can grow.
Your presence is a warm spring day.
    Your absence brings fall.
Together summer never ends and winter is something my heart has forgotten.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
