My light in the dark

Swirling shades of grey and black,
Old emotions continue to stick,
Spreading dread through out my soul,

A field of burnning roses shows,
The black, the ash, old stories told,
I need a savior but you i do not see,
Im alone, cold, and in the purest agony,

As i fall into my own emotions,
A pool of black,
Twirling motion,
No where to swim,
No arm to cling to,
No way to win,
No you to be with

But there you are,
A glowing star,
In all this darkness,
You approach from afar,

My love clears the ash from my eyes,
Helps me to see our love paradise,
Where i can be safe from all of this pain,
Where only happiness is to gain.

There's a line of blue in my shadow now,
always reminding me of your undieing love,
Of which i can look to for a light to guide,
Warmth which i may keep inside,

I have you to hold,
In the peace of my arms,
A shield from the cold,
A shield from the harm,

I possess the greatest tool to combat,
My greatest fears and emotional traps,

My shinning star,
