My Friend
My Friend
You my friend are the most righteous of men, for you have displayed the perfection of the faithful servant and allowed us to taste the fruits of His garden of truth and wisdom. . . .Your words descended towards the hungry hearts which caused it to weep, for the light had entered their dreams. My friend, you were one that displayed the upper most courage among men. As your path of life placed you among some of the most angry of countrymen, and yet you would love them all. . . .And when they would punish you for crimes of their own hearts, you only asked that they be forgiven. My friend, you displayed understanding beyond the imagination. For there were times when the bitterness of their actions would cause such a hate within me, but you understood my hunger for happiness. You stood firm within the valley of conflicting beliefs because there were dreams of better days. . . .My friend, you brought us from the desert and quenched the thirst of many. Now you are no longer here in your physical state but you shall always live in my heart. You are well loved Martin and you shall always be. . . .My Friend.
