When you are down and out and you think life has passed you by,
Just call on Jesus, He'll hear your humble cry.
He will listen to your troubles and never leave you alone.
You can talk to Jesus without picking up the phone.
He will never leave or forsake you, He's always by your side.
He knows where you are so there's no place to hide.
He;s your friend and protector, so fret not and have no fear,
Just be patient because Jesus loves you and is always near.
If you love Jesus and this is very true,
Just give Him the praises and He will certainly love you too.
Jesus is so wonderful, so love Him with all your might
Because when the devil comes with temptation is when you really must fight.
Lord please keep us in your care because it's your face we want to see.
Lead and guide us each day and help us become what you would have us to be.
Take us by our hand and lead us to the promise land
We will forever give you the praise all of our appointed days.
Give us the courage to spread your word
Teach us what to say so that we may be heard.
We love you Jesus down to the very core,
And if we continue to serve You, You may love us even more.
