MY BIG SISTER

MY BIG SISTER

I WAS SMALL BUT YOU WERE TOO, YET YOU SEEMED SO MUCH BIGGER.
IF I HAD KNOWN ALL WE WOULD GO THROUGH,
I WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD MY QUIVERS.

BUT YOU KEPT ME SAFE AND PROTECTED ME,
COVERING UP THE TERRIBLE THINGS I SHOULDN'T SEE YOU'D SMILE AND SAY " ITS OKAY."

ALTHOUGH NOW WE ARE MILES APART,
THE BOND WE SHARE KEEPS US CLOSE IN HEART.
MY PROTECTOR, MY FRIEND AND MUCH MORE " MY BIG SISTER" I TRULY ADORE.

THIE ISN'T A POEM FULL OF PAIN,
IT'S BASED ON STREGNTH
I HOPE TP REGAIN.
OUR BOND IS STRONG AND FOREVER SHOULD GROW,
QUICKLY WIPING AWAY TEARS.
WE ARE THE ONLY TWO WHO KNOW HOW
NOW THAT I AM GROWN UP AND LOOK BACK AT THE PAIN YOU
ENDURED FOR ME.
I CAN'T FIND THE WORDS TO EXPRESS MY LOVE FOR MY SISTER
WHO IS BIGGER THAN ME.
