The days have yet to come where pain does not beckon at my door.
Expectations are the light at the end of the tunnel, that offer comfort to the soul.
My steps are often followed by unsure movements of what once was reflected as the sure of feet and slight of hand,
yet I fail to understand,
confusion is often the process of unsure certainty,
perhaps the great minds of the world will find a cure someday.
Painful tears are shed, as this monster overtakes my body.
Silently, but sometimes harshly, cruel without matter.
The champion that stands my side, aids me in more time.
More time to love, more time to think, and more time to appreciate life, never fading what was once loved.
there are somedays when I can barely move the limbs that once was taken for granted... never to sprint on a whim.
A parasite ever preying, constantly with me, depicting a flower with a chewing insect,
I learn to live, to love, to appreciate that which I once devalued...
the tragedy of if all , that all the large discrepancies of my past, somehow does not matter at all.

Never take anything for granted.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
