    Mother Nature

    Mother Nature
She came into our lives with no particular goal but destruction
and spared nothing and left little to chance.
She recognized no color nor class and
with swiftness she made a statement for all the world to see.
She did not stick around to hear what was to be said about her
    for she did not care.
Her goal set forth had been achieved and she was satisified.
Surging on into the night she disappeard.
She has become a household name and she reveled in it.
She claimed the lives she came calling for and
she blew down the doors, the walls and more.
She is still with us and she smiles at what she has done.
She blew in to remind us all.
    She is the mother,
    She is to be respected,
    She is what she is.
