    Monster

You just sit here with a smile on your face
While I am scared to embrace.
What you did to me wasn't right
    Now I am so tight.
Under my covers and I wont come out
Because if I come out people will find out.
    What youv'e done to me
And you will be on your knees.
    On your way to jail
And no one will reach your bail.
I will glad when your'e far away
So that I can be able to say.
That you gone and I'm happy
Now I can be very crazy.
Without having to worry that you will find me
I can just be myself and be very happy.
Be back to the way I was

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
