Mistakes
Looking back in my life
I have made my fair share of mistakes
I regret most of them
Being talked about constantly
Hearing my name leave everyone’s mouth
Insecure about who I really am
I’m in a place that anyone and everyone dreads
Its called high school
Dealing with the pain and stress
Carefully I walk the halls
Feeling their eyes burn holes through my body
Knowing every move I make
Is being watched, judged
They are just waiting for my destruction
Another mistake
So they can have a beautiful story
About my disaster
Finally some light is shed on my day
Learning from my mistakes
Changing into a person I don’t regret
Leaving the dreaded high school place
And walking on my own without judgment
I have made my fair share of mistakes
I regret most of them
Being talked about constantly
Hearing my name leave everyone’s mouth
Insecure about who I really am
I’m in a place that anyone and everyone dreads
Its called high school
Dealing with the pain and stress
Carefully I walk the halls
Feeling their eyes burn holes through my body
Knowing every move I make
Is being watched, judged
They are just waiting for my destruction
Another mistake
So they can have a beautiful story
About my disaster
Finally some light is shed on my day
Learning from my mistakes
Changing into a person I don’t regret
Leaving the dreaded high school place
And walking on my own without judgment
