Mirror
Everyday when I look into the mirror
I see all the years and they have been good to me
Each wrinkle is a memory of laughter or sorrow
Every gray hair is worry or despair
My skin is still youthful and smooth
My eyes are wiser and brighter
My jawline is stubborn and strong
Everyday when I look into the mirror
I see my children and they have been good to me
Each child caused a wrinkle
Every one of them caused a gray hair
My skin is their skin
My eyes are their eyes
They have my jawline and theirs is also strong
Everday when I look into the mirror
I see all the years and they have been good to me
I see all the years and they have been good to me
Each wrinkle is a memory of laughter or sorrow
Every gray hair is worry or despair
My skin is still youthful and smooth
My eyes are wiser and brighter
My jawline is stubborn and strong
Everyday when I look into the mirror
I see my children and they have been good to me
Each child caused a wrinkle
Every one of them caused a gray hair
My skin is their skin
My eyes are their eyes
They have my jawline and theirs is also strong
Everday when I look into the mirror
I see all the years and they have been good to me
