    Mindless

Now and then I've tried to hide
    my precious self
under beds when it's late at night.
All i can do is watch your spit
    dissolve my sand castle
    I so carefully built.
I have tried to hear all that you've seen
all that I was, am and will be.
Now and then, It's all In my head.
    So now comes the time
    to pull all the plugs
    and hit rewind
I know that your more than you show
I show you more than I am
Now and then its all in my head
    Sometimes 5+5 don't equal ten.

Ahh- very open to skepticism- i like the sense of falsity in this write... and the imagery of trying to find truth if i understood correctly-uniquely well written i must say...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
