mind of a killer

you know my name but not my face
you know the mask my claim to fame
you know ill kill without a thought
but you dont know my mind, my heart
you have no idea whats in the dark
& im not talking bout me in the bushes
im nottalking bout blood when it gushes
Im tryin to tell you something deep within
I know you know nothing beyoned the sin
the mind of a killer but im no clown
the heartof the heartless burieddeep down
i would love to love you but you hate me so
i would love to know but you see no soul
i know that you fear me
i know you think you know
i know you think im dangerous
but you dont know why this is so"

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
