    Midst

    The sunset's mist
    has toned the blues
    take dreams amiss
    lies midst and true

    One comes to dig
    the mistic soul;
    which holds the fig
    lies midst and love

    One's bite and free
    deceit, how cold
    the hand which feed
    midst dreadful hope

    The river's sound
    has toned your name
    day's tears ran down
    midst heartsick vains

    Thank you am2anangel

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

    John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
