    Lunar Beams

    Spherical Demon

    Obscure, no light

    Between Earth and Sun

    New Moon tonight

A little on the right side

A pearly sliver can be seen

Shadows and secrets dance above me

    Waxing Crescent gleams

    Half showing

    Shaded by the Sun

    Some secrets told

    First Quarter Moon begun

    Almost fully visible

    Soon to give secrets away

    Behind Earth and Sun

    Waxing Gibbous has given way

    Full face glowing

    Your secrets told

    Reflection of light from Sun

    Full Moon, bright and bold

    Gravitating toward the left

Still stamped with the man in the moon

    Craters lit with your secrets

    Waning Gibbous cocoon

    Almost folded to the left

Man in the moon has said goodbye

    Moon and earth side-by-side

Last Quarter Moon has no alibi

A little on the left side

A pearly sliver can be seen

    Phasing out your secrets

    Waning Crescent beams

this is a unique portrayal of that multifaceted circle which effects the tides in the sea, and the tides within us. great thoughts here cruotolo1978.

Thanks for commenting on my poem. I would love to hear what you think of my new poem, Diagnosis.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
