    Lucky Rubber Ducky

    Floating on my filth again,
    As I reflect deep within,
    Your're silence serves me well,
While you ride my gentle swell,
    And listen when I explain,
My need to wash some pain,
    This hot water finally cools,
From your patience, I'm less a fool.
Clean once more behind my ears,
Drying you off, I dry my tears.
    Only you will truly listen,
As I clean corners in my heart.
    Rinsed and ready to glisten,
I pull the plug for a clean start.
I'm so lucky to have a rubber ducky.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
