    Love's realities - Written

Love's realities are a hard blessing
    screwed up in living
    to keep stressing
    catching feelings over memories pressuring,
tinkering the heart to quit loving
    dying inside crying
    for one being, one thing
    a lost cause, not knowing
    million matches out there beckoning
    concluding without reasoning
    sailed ships still sailing
    with many fishes still swimming
    broken hearts silly wilting
strong moving on, growing on strong

    Though Metaphors n similes
    won't ease the agonies
    the cool lines n lies
    the fool fantasize, in fallacies
    committing to mysteries
    without war chests
    building castles in skies
    blinded by stereotypes
    n maniacs
    true aphrodisiacs of mistaken identities,
    one-true-love pleas
    Please! what are these inconsistencies?
With all its thrills n spills
    embrace with maturity love's realities

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
