    lovein' at the fishin' hole

when i found her, she was standing by a fishin' hole, i couldn't ignore how she touched my soul. she turned out to be, the answer for me. god rest my soul. well i love her, love her like a morning dew. well i love her like a stirred up stew. and then she ask me,"do you love me too"? yeah, i'll give it,let it roll. god rest my soul. and i wonder how it ever came to me, to find someone that would change me, cause the devil ain't never been ashamed, to throw down and change the rules of the game. and i wonder how it ever came to me, yeah, i wonder how it ever happened to me. she's as pretty as a baby on a pillow. she's as honest as a weep on a willow. she's the sugar in my bowl, she's a midnight stroll, god rest my soul. when i found her, she was standing by a fishin' hole. i couldn't ignore how she touched my soul. she turned out to be, the answer for me, god rest my soul.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
