Love: The Most Beautiful Treasure
I have found a treasure in the silence
That bridges the whirlpool between the islands;
Love is the only treasure that I found
When the fragrance of solitude was all around.
Though my love is speechless
I know that its width really is measureless
The depth unknown, until the hour of separation.
But still, there's a beauty in silent adoration.
Though my eyes are closed, I still see you,
Though my senses are lost, I still feel you,
Though my ears are shut. I still hear you,
My love for you has been veiled with a veil;
In the ocean of life, with dreams and memories do I sail.
I desire to wake up at dawn, with a beautiful winged heart,
And give thanks to you all and the days fair apart;
To sleep with a prayer for the beloved in my heart
And sing a song of praise with my heart, for God's own very special art.
Though the way of love is quite very hard and steep
But a word of love is just very fair and deep
Please draw and water your thoughts, if you can, therefrom.
And let your heart be filled to the brim.
May my love not disturb you, I pray,
And never be a stumbling block on your way
Let it be a song to you unheard,
And like a milky way to the bird.
But will you try to understand it for me,
Or let it be like shells of beauty, beneath the sea.
Though you forget everything under the heaven
Remember there's no wound or grudge in me I have ever graven!
That bridges the whirlpool between the islands;
