Love or Lust by Steve Cavazos
It’s what I feel when you’re away
It’s the reason I wake up and begin my day
It’s what I feel when you are near
It’s what keeps running through my mind and it’s all I hear
It’s what I feel when our lips touch
This feeling that I get is much to much
What is this supernatural felling that I get?
When our eyes meet and we’re chest to chest
Is it love or is it lust?
I don’t know but having you is a must.
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
