Lost

Here I sit in my old ways.
Thinking bout them good ol' days.

Trying to remember if they were good or bad.
Or if those times were melancholy and sad.

Lost in thought, deep in my mind.
Searching for some memories to find.

Not finding any, where have they went.
Confusion is found, my mind is bent.

Crying I'm not for the tears don't flow.
Searching and searching for that external glow.

Has my vision failed me, for it's getting dark.
Oh lord please let me find that spark.

I'm down on my knees, praying at any cost.
How I wish I was found, instead of being lost.
