Lost
As I stand in darkness, I wonder,
Where did the light that shone through this black, loney death go.
For those few lights of life around me have already dimmed and burned ---------out,
And now I await in isolation for the cold, deap, dark ground.
I look around in dismay, hoping to catch a glimpse of light,
For the hopes of a lost man is always to be found.
So I constantly watch for that light to shine,
But secretly wish for the darkness to remain.
As my mind feels my broken heart, it sinks into itself,
For it now fears the pain of emotion and wishes for the deep, dark ---------depths of isolation.
But my broken heart yearns for companionship,
For only friendship can fit the pieces together, and love can make it ----------whole once more.
