Lost and missed

I can't fake a smile, when my heart starts to cry,
Emotions start to rise with the moist in my eye,
Forgeting my feelings for you makes me sick,
So I just let the heart speak through the actions I pick.
I never wished to be everything to everyone,
But I never tried enough to be that something to someone.

It is true that I could have done it all a little better,
I know the words to use and words I'd never utter.
I messed it up, and how dearly do I miss my crony,
Not mere a stop but I wished you were the journey
I cherish the memories, influences are vowed,
The portion of my life that makes me proud,
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
