"LONELY"

                                "LONELY"

LONELY IS A SIX LETTER WORD THAT MEANS SO MUCH,
STILL LONELY EVEN WHEN WE TOUCH.

LONELY IS JUST NOT BEING ALONE, IT'S A FEELING OF DISCERN,
WHEN YOU FEEL AS IF NO ONE IS CONCERNED.

PASSION YOU HAVE YET TO SHARE,
ENERGY READY TO SURGE LIKE A HAZARDOUS FLARE.

LONELY, NOT BY ONES SELF,
IT'S WORST WHEN YOU'RE LONELY AND YOU HAVE SOMEONE ELSE.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
