    Little White Rock

I'm so down in the dump got no money for a drink, as
this little white rock got me so messed up it stinks.
I use to be somebody well respected and loved but
when you look at me you see a broken down fool. I was
one of the few bound for success but where I am now
ain't where I'm suppose to be.
Ran away from home and a family that loved and cared
for me. How could I have been so blind to not see the
path I was heading down to make a turn for the better
but i felt dependent on this little white rock.
No more slumming for me, time to check in and go back
home to my loving family and be the successor that
they envisioned me to be. Make amends for the things
I've done and apologize to a lot of people. I am
tempted no more by This Little White Rock.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
