    Life

When I was small and my feet so tiny,
You'd say come here and walk my way.
When I grew older and my antics weren't funny,
You'd hold and hug me telling me life was so sunny.
When I moved from home to go to school,
I found alot more than the golden rule.

Time went by and those walks I forgot,
Till the day of the call that broke my heart.
You were called home on that bright sunny day,
Your words still linger come here come walk my way
    .

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
