Dear God,
Thank you for my family and for always loving me,
At times I felt unlovable but you helped me Lord to see,
No matter how far I had strayed no matter what I'd done.
When others turned and walked away you bid me child to "Come".
Now looking back on where I've been I could never understand how you saw something special in this nothing of a man.
No big name I have down here no treasures to behold,
You've changed my life completely now nothing is the same.
Once tears streamed my face in agony in sorrow and in shame. Now tears of joy, relief, and completeness well up within my soul. For now my life has meaning and now I've something to show.
