Let your Light Shine

Let your Light Shine

Give me a place, where good men meet
Where woman are strong, and yet discreet
Where children are raised to God's accord.
Protected by angels, armed with sword.
Where joy is abundant, and happiness rules
And together we use all our spiritual tools
Where  God's work is done, so close to perfection
Even Satan will run for his own protection
Where families gather as though on a vine
And through praise to your name, let all their light shine.

If only it could be so. Peace and happiness would return to human hearts. The very thing they are looking for and can't seem to find. Words of wisdom you give divine.

make it so in your life! God's promise will not fail.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
