Leave Me Alone

Leave Me Alone

I can't stand you anymore
You've hurt me way too much
All the memories I have stored
I shutter from your touch
Don't talk to me at all
There's nothing left to say
That broken heart's your fault
I'm living another day
Look at me...I'm changed
I'm better without you now
This girl is rearranged
I'm sure that you know how
Stop bothering me, please
I just don't want you back
Friends? We'll never be
so stop your heart attack
Don't visit me anymore
You know I won't be home
Don't knock on my door
Just leave me alone.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
