"oh lord", how i thank you for this beautiful day,
my illness still threatens, but it won't make it's way!
i know that you've healed me, and for you i remain,
for i gave you this body,,i'll protect your domain!

"our" home is so peaceful, since i gave it to you!
and to keep it maintained, that's my job to do.
this land has a barrier completely around,
no evil, no drama, only your love is found!

my financial struggles?, and the bills that are due?
i don't worry so much, i also gave them to you!
all things are possible with you in my heart,,,,
you bless me each day, and i'm doing my part!

when strangers approach me, for a buck maybe two,
i give with "god bless you", for it just might be you!
"oh lord",i feel bad for those living in sin,
never crosses their minds,that you'll come back here again!

they say they believe,but won't give up their sins,
i speak of your glory, then the drama begins!
i'll not give up hope, for they're your children too,
i wrote this poem and they read it,,,
did my message get through??

i could see in their eyes,i made some start to think,
then some took it lightly, and continued to drink.
"oh lord",i'll continue to write of your love,
i'll get them to wonder, when push comes to shove!
some i make weary, when reading my word,
they ask "how you do this?"
so, my voice is now heard!

takes hitting rock bottom, before they will call,
requesting a poem, of how they will fall!
i tell them to "pray", but they haven't a clue,
i tell them of "heaven", and all that you do.

just "words" wrote on paper, can turn lives around!
when they're reading my "poems",i hear not a sound!
"now lord", we're a team, we'll reach them someway,
they'll find themselves kneeling, and will know how to "pray"!
