    I've Been Saved

I've Been Saved In Darkness, I did not understand the shedding of the blood and sacrifice of the Christ nor did I care. And one day my pain was so great I cried out. The Lord's name Jesus,Jesus,Jesus. Forgive For I have sinned. My darkness slipped away and the light of the Lord began to burn bright and I knew I was saved, saved, saved, saved. Crying with joy and praise, rejoicing in God love. For I had been changed By his sacrifice and blood.

seriously, congratulations! hang onto that knowledge/feeling.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
