Teach him of the Lord,
and he'll learn how to love.
Teac him of self greatness,
and he'll never be lost.
Show him a model,
paint him a guild,
so he'll always follow.
Be his inspiration, his hero, his friend,
and never be afraid to tell him no,
Show him your heart,
let him touch your pain,
love him enough to leave him out in the rain.
Let him fall,
show him how to be a man,
and on his own...
allow him to stand.
be his source of energy,
do for him,
as you did for me.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
