    In a days breath

    IN A DAYS BREATH:
MY FOGGY WORDS SPOKEN INTO THE COLD AIR SAY GOOD MORNING TO THE WINDS THAT BLOW ACROSS MY FACE. HELLO TO THE TREES AND THE SUN,HOW ARE U TO THE GRASS AND THE DIRT. THE SMELL OF THE DEW ON THE LEAVES LET ME KNOW THAT MY DREAM IS NOT OVER.
I HAVE NOT AWAKENED FROM THE DREAM OF LIFE. I SLEEP UNTIL I HEAR THOSE WORDS SPOKEN INTO MY EAR(AWAKEN MY CHILD). THEN REALITY HITS. AT THAT TIME I WILL SEE THINGS AS THEY TRUELY ARE. THEN THE SUN AND THE STARS AND THE MOON WILL LOOK BACK AT ME AND SAY GOOD MORNING AND WE WILL SMILE AND LAUGH AT WHAT NONSENSE THIS DREAM HAS BEEN. IN A BREATH, THERE RESIDES LIFE AND DEATH, A DREAM AND REALITY, THE TRUTH AND A LIE THIS WORLD AND THE NEXT. SOMETIMES I WONDER DO I REALLY WANNA BREATHE OR JUST HOLD MY BREATH, UNTIL THIS DREAM UNFOLDS INTO REALITY. SOMETIMES THE VANITY OF THE DREAM MAKES ME WONDER WHY BOTHER WITH THE TIME SPENT, SOME PEOPLE JUST GET TIRED OF THE WAIT AND DECIDE TO MAKE THEMSELVES AWAKE, I HOPE WHEN THEY DO THIER REALITY IS WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING FOR. I THINK ILL WAIT TILL MY TIME HAS MATURED, AND MY BREATHS ARE NO MORE.UNTIL THEN THIS DREAM IS MY REALITY AND REALITY IS MY DREAM, AND I TAKE YET ANOTHER BREATH

    What?

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
