    IF I RULED THE WORLD

IF I RULED THE WORLD LOVE AND HAPPINESS WOULD BE MANDATORY
EVERYONE WOULD BASK IN THE SUN AND SHARE IN MY GLORY

EVERYDAY WOULD BE FUN FILLED WITH LAUGHTER
JOY AND BLISS IS ALL WE'D CHASE AFTER

THERE WOULD BE NO MONEY OR MATERIAL THINGS
WE'D ALL HAVE A SONG AND EVERYONE WOULD SING

EVERYONE WOULD BE GREAT IN THEIR OWN RIGHT
AND WE'D ALL HAVE A STAR SHINING IN THE NIGHT

WE'D ALL HAVE RESPECT AND BE EXTRA NICE
THE MOON WOULD BE A PIE AND WE'D ALL HAVE A SLICE

EVERYONE WOULD BE AS HUMBLE AS CHILDREN
AND EXTRA SPECIAL IS WHAT WE'D ALL BE FEELIN

WE'D ALL DRINK FROM THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH
ON ONE WOULD LIE BUT ONLY SPEAK TRUTH

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WORDS WOULD FILL THE AIR
PRAISE AND ENCOURAGEMENT IS ALL WE'D HEAR

EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING WOULD BE SO BEAUTIFUL
NO ONE WOULD HUNGER WE'D EAT TILL OUR STOMACHES FULL

NOTHING BAD IN THIS WORLD WOULD EVER EXIST
EVERYDAY WOULD BE LIKE AN ETERNAL BLISS

WE'D ALL BE ONE GREAT BIG FAMILY
BLIND TO THE BAD ONLY GOOD WE'D SEE

THERE WOULD BE NO SORROW AND NO ONE WOULD CRY

WE'D ALL LIVE FOREVER AND NO ONE WOULD DIE

SO NOW YOU ALL KNOW AND SEE

IF I RULED THE WORLD JUST HOW IT WOULD BE

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
