Identify Me!
Go Ahead and Identify Me
Is it the ink around my body or the independent mouth witch with I speak
Am I a statistic or just another normal teen?
Am I making history or am I just stuck in a generational routine?
Am I an overweight brianyac or am I an ungraduated man who’s slim?
Am I a monster or am I prisoner to the worlds system?
So I ask again identify me, but me in a category
Regaining my thoughts and counting them like I’m in thinking inventory
I’m speechless at the fact that I’m only discovered on the outside
What happen to judging a man on his courage and enforcing his pride?
Am I not good enough because I let ink define who I truly am?
I see the dark sparkle in your eye as you deny me before the oral exam
I’m defined a joke but my seriousness is consider a comedy act
Trying to explain my abilities but to them it’s contrary to their facts
I’m heated my brain is turning into a coal mind
The call me different because they see me as a outcast to mankind
I’m an animal and I’m held in wires by the world’s thought
Be yourself do things to make your own history that’s what I was taught
I cry the tears of a frustrated man whose only wish is to be set free
To make a difference to himself and start a new family tree
You never judge a book by its cover
But open a page in my book and I’ll turn you into a music lover
But you won’t you’ll push me aside and think about the next best thing
Am a spiritual masterpiece take a page and read it from my left to the right wing
You look at me and make your mind on the way that I dress
But you push my biography aside and chose to not hear on a poet’s success
So go ahead and label me as black and white marks
Now that I’ve seen the worlds true feelings you poured gas on my fire now watch me spark
So here it is my name is INK and it reads that across my ID
So now you really wasted your time on identifying me.
They scared me for life they pierced me mentally
Im out of place in a sentence, like im parentheses
