I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN
I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN I TALKED TO YOU THAT DAY,
THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE FOR ME TO SAY,
I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU I LOVE YOU FOR THE FRIEND YOU'D ALWAY'S BE,
I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU THANK YOU FOR ALWAY'S BEING THERE FOR MY KIDS AND ME,
I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU HOW WITHOUT YOU I WOULD'NT KNOW WHAT TO DO,
THE ONE THERE WHEN EVER I NEEDED ANYTHING WAS ALWAY'S YOU,
I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU YOU WERE SPECIAL YOU WERE ONE OF A KIND,
LIKE A FRIEND NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE I'LL BE ABLE TO FIND,
I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU BY YOU LEAVING IT'LL CAUSE NOTHING BUT SADNESS TO GAIN,
I WOULD HAVE ASKED YOU IF YOU'D STILL GO KNOWING HOW IT CAUSE NOTHING BUT SO MUCH PAIN,
I WOULD HAVE ASKED YOU WHAT WAS WRONG AND IF YOU WERE SURE YOU KNOW LONGER WANTED TO STAY,
I WOULD HAVE GOT ON MY KNEE'S ASKING GOD PLEASE DONT LET YOU GO AS I PRAY,
I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU HOW MUCH I'LL MISS YOU AND I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY,
I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU EVEN THOUGH IT BADLY HURT'S I GUESS THIS IS GOOD BYE
