I was as lonely blue evening ocean tides
I was as lonely blue evening ocean tides,
washing and drifting in endless unforgiving sea.
I waxed stagnate and cold, weathered by water,
slumbering and falling out of consciousness.
I waited in golden sunlight that failed to relieve my anguish,
blistered and exhausted, slipping into fever.
After the long day I felt the lull of evening shade
spread her perfect shadow over this forgotten sea.
Then the gentle night came creeping over me,
that's when I saw you with your radiant countenance
soft as moon glow.
You with your gravitational vibes, pulled me slowly
into the wayward night away from this isolated sea,
away from this crowded vacuum atmosphere,
away from this murderous silence,
onto your welcoming shores.
