    I Had A Heart

    I remember
    So vague, now...
    Am I to awaken
    From it's slumber
    To expose to such
    To go to the depth
    That I know,
    I cannot swim
    To open the caves
    That have not seen light
    Nor shadow...So dim
    To feel my lungs burst.
    Only to swallow more,
    To quench a thirst
