I get so weak

    I get so weak

I lay and drown myself in worry with not one rational solution

    " I get so weak"

I bottle my darkness inside refusing to let the light in

    "I get so weak"

I submerge my body, soul and mind in the ocean of self pity

    "I get so weak"

I allow doubt to creep in, snowballing into a bigger pool of sin.

    " I get so weak"

Putting my energy into worry, darkness, self pity and doubt in my search for an unrealistic sense of synergy.

"I get so weak, I get so weak, I get so weak...."

Sometimes there are paths we think we can't get off of yet there is always an elusive, intersecting path that beckons escape. Great write.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
