I Can Wait
1 There are three words I knowI should tell you.
There is a line,
That you should hear.
5 But one things for sure,
I fear those words
'Cause your answer is a mystery.
Three simple words
Should not cause fear,
10 One little line,
Should not change what we feel.
But sometimes it does,
And I want to be sure
That they won't mess with our heads.
15 So I'll wait to tell you
I love you.
I'll wait to whisper them in your ear.
Because I know those words are true;
I can wait,
20 To speak them to you.
