    I Apologize

I apologize for all the times I made you cry.

I apologize for using you up ‘til your well ran dry.

I apologize for not believing in you.

I apologize for acting as if I didn't have a clue.

I apologize for letting you down.

I apologize for those days I made you frown.

I apologize for agonizing your soul.

I apologize for making you feel left out in the cold.

I apologize if you ever felt rejected.

I apologize for leaving you feeling neglected.

I apologize for tearing us apart.

I apologize for not being honest from the start.

I apologize  for leaving you full of woe.

I apologize for not apologizing a long time ago.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
