I am me! A Winter Giovanni poem
I am me, but who am I?
I bleed, I sneeze, I eat, and I pee.
I am the cook, the lover, and a friend, like no other.
I am the referee, the coach, the limo driver, like no other.
I love me.
I breathe, I baths, I laugh and I cry,
I hope that one day to never die.
I am weak, yet I am strong
I am right, but sometimes I'm wrong.
Who am I?
That woman that sometimes lets out a deep sigh.
That woman that has so much love to divide.
You ask me, my friend, why who am I?,
But tell me, my friend, why ask why?
I bleed, I sneeze, I eat, and I pee.
I am the cook, the lover, and a friend, like no other.
I am the referee, the coach, the limo driver, like no other.
I love me.
I breathe, I baths, I laugh and I cry,
I hope that one day to never die.
I am weak, yet I am strong
I am right, but sometimes I'm wrong.
Who am I?
That woman that sometimes lets out a deep sigh.
That woman that has so much love to divide.
You ask me, my friend, why who am I?,
But tell me, my friend, why ask why?
