Hurt

im the nature i have the cure, youre the angel keeping me pure.
cleanse the herbs i hold the source. set the water, look at the flow.
take me and i'll feel for the pain.
slowly i will deal with no delay.
send it through a message you're a disease.
infect me with your hands.
i'll detect you through my viens moving down my stream.
you want me to feel it.
the pain of your life, the game that you play.
kill me if you need all i can do is plead.
mercy mercy me.
still im the cure there is no more.
you were the angel now you're the virus.
still keeping me pure.
you seal my heart when you put in the ice.
freeze it up for it cannot rought.
keep it healthy i cant breathe tonight.
divoure my slowly, i am your desert.
pray for me before this, i know im no saint.
hell waits for me, heaven will laugh at my time.
sell my soul and i'll love you for good.
eat my love out i'll be yours, so true.

I love the vivid expression of the hurt being caused - nice!!! I pray no one would have to undergo pain and suffering like this - from the snakes in the grass I hear them all hiss. Detecting their presence I move out their way - cause we don't like each other but yet it's okay. As long as there is peace we don't have to fight - I mean them no harm so I stay to the right. What's left is for them to do as they please - still I love them as well with the greatest of ease. KD

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
