    Hooked

    Here I am alone again
With you lady, I'll never win
After your gone, thoughts's of you still remain
I love the rush you send through my vein
To taste you, you numb my tongue
But some people think your just skum
Nothing more than just white powder
You make music sound so intense and louder
I am not hooked, so I don't need you
But when ever we're together you know what I like to do
Sometimes your so white and pure
I know I'll get a good hit for sure
People think that your good and alright
Even though you gave them their final night
Going in my veins and up my nose
But don't forget it was I who chose
Everytime we meet and I get a good score
One hour later, I want some more
What I read about you in a book
I know that I am strong and could never get hooked
Your a player who always wants to deal
But my lady, I know fantasy and what is real
For someone whose so bad and wrong
They even gave you, your own song....    Cherokee

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
