HOMELESS

HOMELESS

No place to go, nothing to eat
A decent pair of shoes for my tired old feet
I'm a Homeless man begging for alms
Trying to get by thr best way I can

I'm causing no trouble or harm to anyone
Just need a warm place to rest my head
as life must go on, you got your homes
and your fancy cars, so just leave me alone
with my life long scars.
Raggy pants and shabby shirt
my own special hair do.
Dreams were broken years ago by folks such as you
walking around barefoot and all,at times i feel ten feet tall
Homeless man ,homeless girl it's not the end of thr world
no need to run, no need to hide
Somehow ! soon God will provide
You've left me out in the cold and the rain
for so long I have endured the pain
just give me a roof to hang over my head
or just give me  some food instead
for I'm HOMELESS....................

Thank you so very much, your comments is well appreciated

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
