    Holding my hand

I can't seem to get on with my life.
You were so special to me.
You loved to guide me through life.
Sneak out of the house just to see me and my family.
Thank you for holding my hand.
You meant so much to me.
That I can't help but to cry now.
Not being able to see your face anymore.
You can't hold my hand but
I say Thank You For Holding My Hand.
Being there when I had hard times.
Thank you Grandpa for holding my hand.

So sweet sentimental memories, remind me of my grandpa, thank you for this one... very nice...

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
